Note: Many of these recipes call for cannabutter, cannabis ghee, hash, or a cannabis alcohol tincture.

When cooking with cannabis you must take into account many things such as:

  • The strength of the Cannabutter
  • Cooking temperature (too high and the THC will vaporize, not good!) For more information see The Science of Cooking with Cannabis
  • ...and most importantly TASTE! Does cannabis go with the other foods you are using?
Many of the recipes for cannabis foods you find on the internet today are simply any recipe with cannabutter or cannabis ghee substituted for plain butter. All these recipes are tried and true, and incorporate the practical guidelines for cooking with cannabis.
