This weed recipe won’t get you high but it sure will please your taste buds!
Try this delicious home-brew cannabis beer recipe! You may need a little brewing experience for this one, but hey there is a first for everything.
Equipment:
5-gallon/19-liter brewpot
8-gallon/30-lier fermenter
plastic hose
1 large bucket with a spigot
Ingredients:
10lb/4.5kg 2-row pale malt
1lb/500g Munich malt
1oz/25g black patent malt
1.5lb/650g mild hemp seeds(roasted)
4.5 AAU Cascade hops (90 mins)
(0.75oz/21g of 6% alpha acids)
4.5 AAU Cascade hops (45 mins)
(0.75oz/21g of 6% alpha acids)
3 AAU Cascade hops (10 mins)
(0.5oz/14g of 6% alpha acids)
4.5 AAU Cascade Hops (0 mins)
(0.75oz/21g of 6% alpha acids)
1 tsp Irish moss
Wyeast 1056 (American Ale)
2/3 cup/130g corn sugar
Instructions:
1. “Mash”, or heat roasted hemp seeds with 3.5 gallons/13 liters of water and the corn sugar in the brewpot.
2. Hold mash at 156°F/69°C for 60 minutes.
3. Water is sprinkled (heated to 170°F/77°C) on top. This is called “sparging” and will collect the 5.75 gallons of “wort” – the liquid left from mashing.
4. Boil for 90 minutes, adding hops at the times indicated in the ingredients list.
5. In the last 15 minutes, add the Irish moss.
6. Allow the wort to cool, transfer to fermenter, aerate and add yeast.
7. Store in a cool place and allow to ferment for 10 days.
