Cannabis Rice Krispies Treats

Try these delicious cannabis rice krispy treats! Yet another amazing marijuana recipe!

  • 1/4 cup cannabutter
  • 1 10 ounce bag marshmallows
  • 5 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Melt cannabutter and marshmallows on medium heat, stirring often. (Note: Be careful to not overheat this! If it’s getting too hot, turn the heat down. Using a Farberware Classic 2-Qt. Covered Double Boiler will help prevent this.)
  2. Add Rice Krispies and mix with a buttered or sprayed spatula.
  3. Pour into a 9×13 inch buttered or sprayed pan. Using a sprayed or buttered spatula, press them down so it forms an even layer.
  4. When they have cooled down enough, enjoy your cannabis treats!

  • 2 or 3 heaping spoons of peanut butter
  • M&M’s or other candies
  • Chocolate chips (or peanut butter, butterscotch, white, etc)
  • Dried berries
  • Chocolate Rice Krispies
  • Substitute 1/2 of the Rice Krispies for Fruity Pebbles and add Skittles
  • Flavored marshmallows
  • Other cereals

How do I know what a serving size would be for me?

It depends on your individual dosage requirements and the strength of your cannabutter.
I’ve found that the butter sold by most access points is weak, inconsistent, and overpriced.
Probably whatever was swept up off the floor when they cleaned up. It’s usually pretty dark and smells “weedy” but fails to deliver a decent THC dosage. If you are only interested in CBD, it would be fine.
Another down-side is that they never mention specific strains. Butter is always made with leftovers.
Someone could make a lot of money by specializing in strong, strain-specific butter that is guaranteed to be organic and fresh. What the hell — make it kosher and your market gets even bigger.
Besides, everyone knows that edibles are best when they are served right out of the oven. Selling quality butter and components would be the equivalent of take-and-bake pizza!

When do you add the vanilla extract?

I was wondering the same thing about the extract but just mix it in when you’re mixing the melted marshmallows and canna butter … Simple recipe and mixing fruity pebbles is a real tasty additive to help with masking the weed taste

Gonna make these soon with fruity pebbles instead of rich krispies. And m&ms
