Honey oil is the end product of an essential oil extraction. Generally uses butane to extract THC and other active cannabinoids into an oily substance with the consistency of "honey".
The honey oil can be used in cooking applications, popularly in marijuana lollipops and hard candy. I prefer to use my own cannabis tinctures for candies as it is a bit safer.
Some people will tell you butane extraction is dangerous, others will tell you it is safe if you know what you are doing. I am not experienced in this process so this is as far as I will go into the subject.
