How to make Cannabis Ghee

Ghee is clarified butter. It contains mostly butter fat and trace amounts of water and milk solids. THC, the main psychoactive chemical in marijuana (cannabis), is not readily digested by itself. Because THC is fat soluble it can be extracted into Ghee in order to make it more accessible to the body.

Boil the herbs in two cups of water down to 1 cup of water then simmer the ghee until until you have boiled all the water off(about 20 minutes), this way you won’t burn the ghee. there is no need to cook with it you can just swallow a tablespoon at a time. you can also use it as a nasya. use half a dropper into each nostril and snort it up 3 times. there are alot of herbal ghee recipes on the web. ayurveda has used brahmi ghee, triphala ghee bhringraj ghee etc for thousand of years. don’t strain the herbs until after you have mixed with the ghee though because it is the fat of the ghee that pulls the thc out. Ghee acts as a anupana which means it takes the herbs to the deeper tissues.
