The Green Dragon, a marijuana infused alcoholic beverage, will be sure to give you both a buzz and a high. Easy to follow ganja recipe that is great for parties! Our March 2011 Recipe of the Month.

It is important to DECARB your marijuana before following this tutorial. To do this place the cannabis on a baking sheet in the oven at 150°F for 30-60 minutes. The marijuana should crumble easily.
Ingredients:
750ml/26oz high-proof liquor (with alcohol content over 50% - the higher the better!)
20-25 grams of marijuana
Instructions:
1. Grind your marijuana down to an extremely fine powder.
2. Decarb your weed by placing it on a cooking sheet in the oven at the lowest temperature possible or around 120 degrees F. After about an hour the marijuana should be extremely dry and crumble easily.
3. Open the bottle of liquor and pour all the cannabis powder into the bottle. Close tight. (Note: if there is too much alcohol for the amount of cannabis, remove some alcohol before pouring the cannabis powder in. Every ounce of alcohol you remove makes your Green Dragon more potent, so keep that in mind!)
4. Shake extremely well. Do this several times a day for about 10 days. The more patient you can be, the better quality Green Dragon you will produce.
5. After at least 10 days, open the bottle and strain through cheesecloth
6. Shake well, pour a few shots, and enjoy with some friends!
Serving Suggestions: Serve chilled and on the rocks! Also use in Jello Shots and for CannaMelon. Please enjoy responsibly and always have a Designated Driver.

just curious if anyone has tried resin dissolved in liquor. i would think it might not taste very good, but would mix into the alcohol much faster. i'm thinking i might throw a couple of gooey pipe cleaners into a bottle of gin and see what happens.
Difference between tincture and Dragon
What is the difference between Green Dragon and a cannabis tincture?
Difference
Cannabis tincture is very, very concentrated, and you only need an extremely small amount. Green Dragon is still concentrated, but it can be used for mixed drinks or shots, just use caution and drink this responsibly!

Caution
Be very careful if you're using Everclear! It's EXTREMELY potent!
Everdumb
Dont use everclear you will just end up shitfaced and not even be able to tell if you are stoned. use a high proof gin and or use everclear then mix it with some thing else to make it a more reasonable proof and flavor. side note: everclear is also very flammable so its not the best candidate
Decarbing
Instead of decarbing the cannabis can vaped cannabis be used instead? If so how much would be used?

hell no dont use vaped weed, the thc is burned off when you do that! is vaporizes! did i misunderstand what you meant maybe? maybe i did. ive had a couple of shots. if i didnt misunderstand what vape means though, dont do it homes!
ABV
ABV, or 'already been vaped' weed does have minute amounts of THC still left in it. It's ok to made edibles with, although I don't think it would be good for greed dragon as you're really looking for potency here.

You sure can use vaped bud I made some tea with about a gram of vaped bud and it was quite the high

Can u cook the alcohol out of it? I have heard thats how u get it to a oil. I am really looking In to cooking with thc.

Oil
Best way to get it good to cook is to boil it in oil or butter for at least an hour in very low fire. Butter is tastier, but it is easier to do it with frying oil without burning it (butter burns real fast). Then use your new THC impregnated oil/butter to do your brownies/sponge cake/chilli/etc.
There is a method of making
There is a method of making concentrated Green Dragon that requires using the stove, but this can be very dangerous if you are not experienced. Our tutorial is the safe method and good for parties, etc. since it is not extremely concentrated. It's best to use Green Dragon as a shot or in a mixed drink.
